Internal Comms

It looks highly likely to me that RSS will overtake intranet applications for corporate networks. The reason? Because for every employee there will always be a daily imperative. Invariably, much corporate information is slow-moving compliance material. Unless some form of compliance process is added to this, there's no way of ensuring that the corporation has discharged its obligations. RSS especially when used in conjunction with Blackberries and other PDAs means that receipts for the sending of information can be provided. From a corporate pov then, it's not RSS. It's more like CYA.
